Who we are.
MONA is a global music-studio collective based between London, Paris, and Barcelona. Working across feature film, TV series, commercials, fashion and performance, we partner with visionary directors, brands, agencies and production studios to craft music that resonates emotionally and elevates each frame.
Founded in 2020 by award-winning collaborators Alison Manicourt and Shervin Hejazi, MONA combines deep experience in music composition and music supervision. Together, they’ve held key roles at Warner Music Group, Concord Music Group, Abbey Road Studios (HotHouse), and several top music supervision agencies and labels. Our heritage spans the creative hubs of London, Barcelona and Paris.
With MONA, we bring not just musical creativity, but also industry-savvy expertise: handling everything from licensing to budgeting, and crafting polished, emotionally rich soundtracks that align with your story.
What we do.
We provide two core types of services — composition & production, and music supervision & licensing — all tailored to the needs of film, advertising, fashion, and broadcast:
On the creation side, we craft bespoke compositions, original scores, and custom musical sound design, as well as arrangements, remixes, and full music production. We also offer rapid licensing from our own catalogue of 100% original compositions, along with sonic branding, voiceover recording, and audio restoration, ensuring every project sounds polished, distinctive, and emotionally resonant.
On the supervision side, we handle music direction, curation, and licensing from start to finish — from creative direction and custom playlists to fee negotiation, licensing strategy, and management of all paperwork. Our expertise covers copyright due diligence, public-domain analysis, and bespoke budgeting, ensuring every project stays both creatively inspiring and legally watertight.

Our clients include Amazon Studios, Netflix, Warner Brothers, Vogue, Mango, Jo Malone, and more. Through our supervision roles, we’ve secured synchronisation licensing deals on behalf of iconic artists ranging from The Beatles, Radiohead, No Doubt, The Rolling Stones, and Janis Joplin, to a plethora of emerging artists before they become future stars.

Beyond the Studio.
As an artistic extension of MONA, founders Alison and Shervin also create and perform under Mona et Toi, a music project that has earned nominations at the Berlin Fashion Film Festival (New Generation Award, twice), the Lonely Wolf International Film Festival (“Best Original Song”), with features in Vein, Perfect, Disco Naïveté, and Tsugi Radio. In 2025, Mona et Toi signed an album deal with the renowned Madrid-based label Mushroom Pillow. Their self-produced debut album, Radical Romance of Mind, mixed by Alex Ferrer (C. Tangana, Vitalic), is set for release in 2026 — a hypnotic entry into their singular and untamed universe.
